Really good food, feels like a home cooked meal :) I’m not from Pittsburgh so I can say this without affecting myself but I honestly feel like they should charge maybe 10-20% more. It would still be good value and they seem to be working hard so think they deserve it.

I try to hit this up whenever I'm doing a weekday downtown walkabout. If I worked downtown I would be a much more frequent guest! It's very affordable, very portable and great flavors for anyone who loves Indian food. Usually I takeout and eat in on the bench by the river about a block away. When I've had company with me, we've eaten in but really this atmosphere is pretty sterile-- this is mainly a takeout place. If you're driving, the parking is pretty nonexistent most of the time but there are places you can pull over for a minute and service is fast if you feel lucky and don't have someone to stay with the car. Really the only downside is that-- as of this writing anyway-- Sree's is only open for weekday lunch.

Delicious authentic food. The owner is always working and is very kind. There is a reason why Srees is so popular. Plus they have cling wrap and utensils ready to go so you can easily take the food to go.

The food is delicious, she has different dishes depending on the day of the week and many vegetarian options. I'm partial to the spicy chicken on Tuesday's and Thursday's but all of the sides and mains on the other days are very good. Super friendly service as well, I always love coming here for lunch when I am downtown.

Have been frequenting this place for veggie food for 20 years and have loved every single bite of every single meal. Its one of those places that once you think about maybe going....nothing else sounds or tastes good until you have gotten a trip to srees in. Unique and delicious hot sauce too. The woman who is the owner and cook knows her stuff and is very friendly. Just went for lunch two hours ago and am already excited to go back .

A delicious, quick, and affordable lunch! Perfect for folks visiting for a conference only a short walk away from the conference center. I got the biryani lunch special. Everything was perfect

Great takeout place for lunch. Weekly menu so every day is something new. Food is extremely tasty. Edit: food is still very tasty. Best places to grab a great lunch!

I have been coming to Srees for about 20 years. And the food has always been amazing. Lol, come to think about it, this food helped take a skinny 109 lbs dude to a healthy 185. They have always been kind to me, and I have never dropped any food. Even tho she still to this day tells me to be careful as I request extra gravy every time!! I'm an old-school Sree's foodie. Tofu and veggies. Chicken meatballs old school. This place has and will always have a special place in my heart.
